# Give your team company-owned app connections

Enterprise admins can create managed connections from the App Connections page and share them with people or teams, so members don't need their own credentials.

Somewhere in your Zapier account, one person's Salesforce login is holding up a few dozen of your team's Zaps. Then that person moves on, IT shuts off their Salesforce account, and every one of those Zaps stops. Nobody notices until the leads stop showing up.

Managed connections fix that. Enterprise admins can now create a company-owned app connection once and share it with the people and teams who need it.

Your Zaps keep running when people change roles, and nobody has to borrow a teammate's login to build.

## Share one connection with the whole team

An admin connects the app account, names it, and shares it with specific people or teams. They can pick it in the Zap editor right away, and they never see the credentials.

Your sales ops team can build on the company Salesforce account, and your support team can post from the company Slack workspace. Managed connections wear a small shield icon on the Connections page, so they're easy to spot.

## Keep Zaps running when people move on

Admins decide who can use each managed connection and can pull access from one place when someone leaves. The Zaps built on it keep running, because the credentials belong to the company.

The only thing that goes stale after a farewell is the cake. For a full inventory, export your app connection metadata as a CSV.

## Set up a managed connection

1. On the App Connections page, click **Create connection**.
2. Click **Managed**, then search for and select the app.
3. Connect the account, name the connection, and share it with people or teams.

## Decide how strict to be

Personal connections still work alongside managed ones, which is handy for apps like Slack where people also use their own accounts.

If an app should only ever run on company credentials, turn on managed apps for it, and members can't create personal connections to it. The [admin controls guide](https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/49441881946253-Admin-controls-for-app-connections) compares your options.

## Availability

Managed connections are available on Zapier Enterprise, for admins and super admins to create and share.
