FullContact Card Reader, RescueTime, Freshdesk and 6 More Apps Added to Zapier in May

Collecting a pocket full of business cards is an easy part of networking. Adding each new contact to your address book isn't. Unless, however, you're using FullContact Card Reader: snap a photo of the card and voilà, you have a new contact in Google Contacts, connection on LinkedIn, lead in Salesforce or subscriber in MailChimp. FullContact's business card transcription service is fast and accurate, and now that it's on Zapier, it's very well-connected.

FullContact was one of nine apps added to Zapier in May. Also new to the Zapbook of over 300 connected apps is customer support tool Freshdesk, booking app Acuity Scheduling, productivity apps RescueTime and Instapaper, personal dashboard app Numerous, email marketing service VerticalResponse and developer tools Visual Studio Online and Knack.

FullContact Card Reader

FullContact Card Reader is the easiest way to scan business cards into your CRM, personal address book or email marketing service. The service uses real people to transcribe your cards, keeping accuracy intact.

RescueTime

RescueTime calculates your daily computer use, from websites visited to apps used, to help you understand your habits. With alerts to remind you if you've spent too much time some where, the apps aids you to increase your productivity.

Freshdesk

Freshdesk is helpdesk software that keeps support teams on the same page and customers up-to-date about their submitted ticket. The app also offers companies support stats and the ability to customize the look of their support center.

Visual Studio Online

Microsoft's Visual Studio Online, a collection of developer services, is one of the fastest and easiest ways to plan, build and ship software across a variety of platforms.

Instapaper

Instapaper is a beautiful way to save the blog posts, articles and other online content that interest you for later. The app syncs your items saved, read and liked across your devices.

Acuity Scheduling

Acuity Scheduling is a simple way to let your clients book their own appointments, complete custom intake forms and pay in advance. The scheduling software offers a mobile app to stay in touch with new and upcoming appointments when on the go.

Numerous

Numerous is a mobile dashboard to help you keep better tabs on any number, from your MailChimp subscriber count to Eventbrite registrants.

Knack

Knack is a simple online database and web app builder. Optimized for tablets and smart phones, apps built with it work great on every device.

VerticalResponse

VerticalResponse offers easy-to-use email marketing software, such as a drag-and-drop design interface and pre-designed templates, for small businesses. If marketing to less than 1,000 contacts, your account is free.

New GitHub Trigger

No longer will you be tied to your inbox to receive @mention notifications on GitHub. With our added "New Mention" trigger for GitHub, you can now be pinged via push notification, SMS, Gtalk or team chat app when you're mentioned on commits, pull requests, issues or comments.
