# HubSpot AI tools: A complete guide to Agent Hub and Breeze

Automate your workflows, track your CRM data, and help engage target customers with some of the best AI tools for HubSpot.

My local grocery store decided to be insufferable a few weeks ago and rearrange the aisles. I used to be able to walk through that place blindfolded if I wanted to. Now, it takes me 10 minutes to find the right beans because, for some reason, the dried and canned varieties are multiple aisles away (who does that?).

HubSpot AI tools are also remodeling. Within the past few years, Breeze Studio became Agent Builder, Breeze Agents became Agent Hub, and three other naming changes came and went. I'll give the company the benefit of the doubt because these changes are pretty useful, but it'll still take you some time to figure out the new layout if you haven't been paying attention.

Whether you're a vet in need of a refresher or completely new to the world of HubSpot, I have you covered with a breakdown of the current HubSpot AI tool ecosystem. I'll cover the shelves as they're stocked today, and some of the best use cases for each tool.

## What is HubSpot AI?

HubSpot AI is the umbrella term for all AI features within [HubSpot's customer platform](https://zapier.com/blog/what-is-hubspot/). You could boil them down to three categories: things that help you work, autonomous agents, and background services. A major player in all of this is the HubSpot [CRM](https://zapier.com/blog/what-is-a-crm/), which can supply information to every AI feature, like up-to-date deal history, call transcripts, and past behavior you'd otherwise have to copy and paste.

Before I dive deeper into the features themselves, let's clear up the product names now to help avoid confusion:

- **Breeze** is HubSpot's AI brand, launched at INBOUND 2024, and it now covers two things: **Breeze Assistant** (the in-app chat helper) and **Breeze Intelligence** (data enrichment and buyer intent).
- **Agent Hub** is where the autonomous agents live, and it's what Breeze Agents became when it launched in public beta in July 2026. Agent Builder, inside it, is the former Breeze Studio.

I also feel that I owe you a quick callout on pricing. What you'll pay for these tools ultimately depends on your plan (shocker, I know). A few tools are free on any plan, the search visibility products are priced separately, and the Agent Hub is included with Starter, Professional, and Enterprise.

It can get a lot more complicated than that, but I don't want to overwhelm you before we even get started. Just keep an eye on it as you build your bundle.

## HubSpot's AI agents (Agent Hub)

An agent (in the wide world of HubSpot) is AI that takes on a whole task rather than a single step, triggering on its own and running through to a finished result. [Agent Hub](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ai/understand-agent-hub) is where they all live: a lush utopia where you'll find HubSpot's prebuilt agents for marketing, sales, service, and billing, plus Agent Builder for the ones you make yourself, with live status and output for each on one screen.

You can get to it by navigating to **More** > **Agents** > **Agent Hub**. Turning one on takes a click, and it starts working with HubSpot CRM data right away with no connection step in between.

### Content Agent

**Best for:** Marketing teams publishing on deadline

Content Agent takes your short prompt, campaign goal, or persona (that you've mapped on your CRM) and gives you a draft. Blog posts, landing pages, social content, case studies, and podcast episodes all come out of the same tool, and it handles pre-publish chores like meta descriptions and internal links. You can also upload reference files so the agent stays true to how your brand likes to talk, instead of wrestling with some generic [AI slop](https://zapier.com/blog/ai-workslop/) every new prompt.

Marketing teams find the most benefits from this tool, but treat what comes back as a first draft. Even with the reference files, the AI drafts drift toward generic, and you'll probably spend some time editing your voice back into them.

### Campaign Agent

**Best for:** Marketers planning multi-channel launches

Campaign Agent is the front end of HubSpot's marketing chain. Give it a campaign goal, and it plans the entire operation across channels in a single session, then passes asset creation to Content Agent and follow-up to Nurture Agent. Marketing teams no longer have to assemble a campaign across four tools; everything can now happen inside one system.

### Nurture Agent

**Best for:** Marketers with a leaky middle funnel

Everyone has received the nurture email that obviously came from a pre-established list: "Thanks for downloading the eBook," or "Here's our absolutely riveting case study." Nurture Agent writes to what the person actually did rather than to the list they landed on. So, a lead who read two pricing pages and a lead who downloaded one eBook get different messages—without anyone having to build a different branch for each.

### Prospecting Agent

**Best for:** Small sales teams doing outbound

Prospecting Agent monitors accounts for signals that they're ready to buy, then researches and automatically writes the outreach. You can tune its research criteria, messaging style, and engagement rules, and run separate messaging for different products or buyer personas. By default, every drafted email waits for a rep to review and edit it, but once you trust the output, there's a fully autonomous mode that sends without the check.

It has outcome-based pricing, at $1 per lead recommended for outreach, so you pay when the agent recommends a lead and drafts the outreach, whether or not a rep ever sends it. Also, the agent writes well, but it can also happily write to a lot of people who were never going to buy. Ideally, you'd still like a human to own the prospect list.

### Data Agent

**Best for:** Sales reps who hate pre-call research

Data Agent answers questions about a contact or company, pulling from your CRM records, call recordings, emails, documents, and the open web. A sales rep no longer has to frantically hop between six tabs before a call—they can just ask the Data Agent what's changed at the account since last quarter and get an answer with sources attached.

It's a sales tool first, though RevOps probably gets more out of it, since it can fill custom AI-researched fields across a whole list in one go. [These RevOps-focused HubSpot features](https://zapier.com/blog/revops-hubspot-features/) can work well alongside it.

### Deal Progression Agent

**Best for:** Sales reps who forget CRM updates

After each meeting, Deal Progression compares the call transcript to the deal's full history and proposes updates. This can be a stage change, a revised amount or close date, the next steps, and even a follow-up email drafted from the conversation. It's a _little_ more than an [AI note taker](https://zapier.com/blog/best-ai-meeting-assistant/), though, because the suggestions are based on your own internal data, pipeline definitions, and stage criteria. The proposed next steps can be approved with a human click, which beats entering them manually at 5 p.m. on a Friday.

### Customer Agent

**Best for:** Support teams drowning in the same questions over and over

Customer Agent handles repetitive tickets across channels, pulling answers from your knowledge base, plus the contact and contract history for the person asking. It runs on chat, email, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger, and it can learn from PDFs, knowledge base articles, and up to 5,000 pages of your own site. You can also establish tone and style guidelines, working hours, and a percentage rollout (so it only takes a slice of conversations at first).

This agent is only as good as your internal documentation, though. If your knowledge base is in rough shape, the agent will just hand out those milquetoast answers faster.

### Revenue Agent

**Best for:** Finance teams chasing unpaid invoices

Revenue Agent works the billing end, automating the invoice follow-up and reminder messages that otherwise fall to whoever owns collections. It arrived alongside Revenue Hub, HubSpot's quote-to-cash product, and it's designed for finance use cases rather than marketing or sales. If your AR process is currently a recurring calendar reminder and an apologetic email template, this replaces it.

### Agent Builder

**Best for:** Teams automating their own processes

Agent Builder is where you can create your own agent. Just describe what you need to Breeze Assistant in plain language, and it proposes a configuration (the goal, what tools it uses, and knowledge sources it draws from) that you can adjust. You can set up Knowledge Vaults for reference documents, define which actions the agent can take, and review audit cards showing which CRM properties changed and why.

Agents can work based on a schedule, a contact update, a webhook, or a third-party integration, so the automation doesn't have to start inside HubSpot at all. They can reach out to other systems too, through [MCP](https://zapier.com/blog/mcp/) connections, with supported servers including Notion, Jira, Asana, G2, and [Zapier](https://zapier.com/mcp).

## HubSpot Breeze

Breeze is the name that stuck around after the agents packed up their belongings and moved in with Agent Hub. Three things sit under it now: Breeze Assistant, Breeze Intelligence, and Breeze Projects—the latter being an organizing feature inside Assistant rather than a product in its own right.

The two Breeze headliners work in slightly different directions. Assistant is the front door to most of HubSpot's AI, and the place where building happens, including the custom agents I mentioned above, which are made by describing them to Assistant in plain language. Intelligence runs in the background on your records and forms, and teams that use it may never open it directly at all.

### Breeze Assistant

**Best for:** Anyone already working inside HubSpot

Breeze Assistant is the chat interface built into every HubSpot edition (yes, including the free plan), perched patiently at the top of the page. It answers questions about your data, summarizes records, drafts content, and updates CRM records. It's role-aware and page-aware, so reps on a deal record page and marketers on a blog editor page get different answers and help strategies.

It connects out to Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and Slack, so it can reference, for example, an external email thread alongside your CRM records. The biggest benefit is that you can build workflows in it directly from plain English. Just describe the automation you want, and Assistant generates the triggers, actions, and delays, then leaves the workflow switched off until you review it.

### Breeze Intelligence

**Best for:** Teams with thin CRM records

Breeze Intelligence runs on more than 200 million company and buyer profiles (if you're keeping track at home, this is the dataset HubSpot acquired from Clearbit). It does three jobs:

- [**Enrichment**](https://zapier.com/blog/data-enrichment-tools/) automatically fills gaps in your records, keeping a watchful eye on industry, company size, revenue, and job titles.
- **Buyer intent** matches website visitors to companies by IP address, so you can see which businesses are reading your pricing page without filling anything out.
- **Form shortening** hides fields that it can already fill itself. For example, a new prospect might have to fill out six fields on one of your forms; a returning visitor or a business you already have information on may only have to fill out one.

### Breeze Projects

**Best for:** Anyone re-explaining context in every chat

If you use a chat assistant regularly, you've probably retyped the same diatribe a few dozen times: here's our brand voice, here's what the product does, here's how we write quotes. A Breeze Project allows you to create and store that information. It's a named space you work inside, and every chat you start there already has that diatribe logged, so you don't have to start from square one every single time.

## AI built into HubSpot Hubs

Not everything with AI in it lives under Breeze or Agent Hub. Some of these features predate modern branding and exist as ancient relics lying dormant like Stonehenge or Machu Picchu. Most of them are buttons or embedded elements at the point of work, like a button in the email editor or an option in the workflow builder.

Often, they're already switched on in your account and don't require Agent Hub access, though your mileage may vary. Some are free on any plan, while others are behind Professional.

So…it's complicated. But here are a few you'll want to keep your eye out for.

### AI content writer

**Best for:** Free-tier users drafting marketing copy

The AI content writer is a generalist drafting tool, free and available wherever you're already writing, whether that be knowledge base articles, blogs, or emails. You can ask for ideas, an outline, or a few paragraphs on a topic, and it drafts something from a blinking cursor; or you could highlight text you've already written and have it rewritten, shortened, expanded, or shifted in tone. The deeper generative features (like blog writer, content remix, and AI image generation) live in premium Content Hub editions.

### AI website generator

**Best for:** Founders launching a first site

With the website generator, all you have to do is describe your business, goals, and the style you want, and the tool produces a site with a home page, navigation, and a CMS. From there, you can access the drag-and-drop editor for pages, themes, and language settings. It won't replace a professionally made website, and it can't redesign an existing one, but it's good for getting something live quickly.

### Conversation intelligence

**Best for:** Sales managers who can't sit in on every call

Conversation intelligence records and transcribes, then analyzes what was said. So instead of frantically scrubbing a 40-minute meeting recording for a client objection, you can just search for it. Users can set tracked terms (competitor names, pricing language, specific features) and get flagged when they come up, making this feature even easier to use.

### Predictive lead scoring

**Best for:** Teams with plenty of closed deals

A rule-based scoring model takes cues from whatever you believed about your buyer on the day you wrote those rules. Predictive [lead scoring](https://zapier.com/blog/lead-scoring/), on the other hand, builds its model from your conversion history, ranking contacts by similarity to the ones that closed. The small caveat is that it needs a serious volume of closed-won and closed-lost deal history before it works properly. Most teams use both, and [Zapier's guide to HubSpot lead scoring](https://zapier.com/blog/hubspot-lead-scoring/) covers how to set them up.

### Breeze actions in workflows

**Best for:** Ops teams automating repetitive judgment

Standard [workflows](https://zapier.com/blog/workflow-automation/) handle rules. Breeze actions can handle the steps in between them that used to need a person. You can run an agent as a workflow step to perform tasks like categorizing an inbound ticket or summarizing a thread. These burn credits every time they run, but that's worth it for the right team. [These HubSpot workflow examples](https://zapier.com/blog/hubspot-workflow-examples/) can give you a few ideas.

### AI chatbot builder

**Best for:** Sites capturing leads after hours

The [chatbot builder](https://zapier.com/blog/best-chatbot-builders/) is free, and handles what happens while your support team is having dinner. These bots get their answers from your knowledge base and product pages, and can qualify, book, close tickets, and more in one fell swoop. It's the lighter-weight cousin of Customer Agent, which is actually the better choice once you have enough ticket volume to justify it.

### Plain-language reporting

**Best for:** Anyone dreading the report builder

Go to _Reporting_, choose to create a report with AI, and type a question (like which rep won the most deals last quarter). It'll pull from a single object or join several, and anything it returns opens in the report builder if you want to keep it. Another great use case for this is when someone asks a question mid-meeting, and you need the number before the conversation moves on.

## HubSpot AI search visibility tools

[GEO](https://zapier.com/blog/generative-engine-optimization/) (also known as AEO) is a thing now, and every brand should be asking whether ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and the other LLMs mention your company in user queries. HubSpot has that lane covered, too.

HubSpot entered the [AI visibility](https://zapier.com/blog/best-ai-visibility-tool/) category by acquiring XFunnel in 2026. Like Ahrefs Brand Radar or Peec AI, its tools run prompts on a schedule and count mentions. Everything here is priced separately, though.

### HubSpot AEO

**Best for:** Marketers tracking brand visibility in AI

HubSpot AEO is the product, still labeled beta. You define the prompts and queries you care about, and it tracks them across the three major answer engines, reporting a Brand Visibility Score (the percentage of tracked prompts that mention you), competitor share of voice, citation analysis showing which domains and pages AI pulls from, and prioritized recommendations.

Pricing is $50/month (or $45/month billed annually), with 25 prompts included and more available for purchase. Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise also include AEO, with a larger prompt allowance and recommendations shaped by your CRM data. This option tracks your brand regardless of where the site is hosted.

### AI search Grader

**Best for:** A quick one-time visibility baseline

AI Search Grader, also called the AEO Grader, runs preset queries and returns a scored snapshot across five variables: sentiment, presence quality, brand recognition, share of voice, and market position. It only tells you about right now, not what's changing, so it works best as a baseline you take before buying any AEO tooling. And since it's free and needs no account, running it on yourself (or a competitor) takes just a few minutes.

### AI search Sensor

**Best for:** Diagnosing an industry-wide traffic drop

AI Search Sensor answers if _you're_ the problem, or if everyone else is too. It tracks citation frequency, AI-referred traffic trends, and benchmarks by industry, so when your referrals fall off a cliff, you can check whether the whole category moved. It won't show your own brand's visibility, which is what the Grader and AEO are for, and there's a chance any swing you're looking at is probably run-of-the-mill variability.

## Automate HubSpot AI tools with Zapier

For a quick refresher: work with agents in Agent Hub, use Breeze for everyday help, poke around with AI tools built into the Hubs for quick adjustments, and dive into AEO capabilities to monitor your search visibility.

If you're one of the smarter cookies, however, you'll realize there are some real limitations—mainly with the CRM. HubSpot's agents and Breeze features work well when the context they need lives within HubSpot, but they get less effective when you need anything outside of it.

To fill that gap, you can [connect HubSpot with Zapier](https://zapier.com/apps/hubspot/integrations) to build end-to-end workflows across in your tech stack. So all the work you do in HubSpot can flow seamlessly to your team's Slack, billing app, Google Ads account, Mailchimp email list, and everything in between. You can even connect HubSpot to your favorite AI client via [Zapier MCP](https://zapier.com/mcp) and do work across your apps directly in the chat window.
