# Use one Zapier MCP server across all your AI tools

Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other MCP clients to one Zapier MCP server. They share apps, actions, and skills, and you review tool calls in one place.

Most teams don't stick to one AI tool. Your support team works in Claude, a few people swear by ChatGPT, and your engineers live in Cursor. Until now, each of those tools needed its own Zapier MCP server, with its own apps and skills to set up.

Now you can connect all of them to one Zapier MCP server, and they share everything on it.

## Set up your apps and skills once

Say your support team uses Claude and your engineers use Cursor, and both connect to the same server. Add Zendesk and its actions to that server, and both tools can use them right away. Write a skill for drafting ticket replies, and it shows up in Claude and in Cursor without copying it into each one.

Every tool call from every client also lands in the same history. So when you want to know what an AI tool did in Zendesk, you check one server instead of one per tool.

## Set the rules once, too

Mode belongs to the server, so every client on it uses the same one. Put a shared server in managed mode, and you pick exactly which actions Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor can run. You can also lock a field, like the Slack channel a message posts to, so no tool picks a different one.

Any app and action restrictions on your account or workspace still apply to every client.

## Add a client in a few clicks

1. At mcp.zapier.com, open the server you want to share.
2. Go to the **Clients** tab and select **Connect client**.
3. Pick the AI tool from the list.
4. Follow its setup steps, or select **Swap client** if it's on another server.

A client can only connect to one server at a time, so adding it here takes it off its old server. It also switches to this server's mode.

Already have a separate server for each tool? You don't have to start over. Pick the one to keep and connect your other clients to it. Your old servers stay until you delete them, so you can bring tools across with a tool bundle and copy skills over when you're ready. The [setup guide](https://docs.zapier.com/mcp/manage/add-multiple-clients) covers both, plus clients that use a connection token.

If one tool needs its own tools and skills, leave it on its own server.

## Availability

Multi-client servers are available now in Zapier MCP, which is included in every Zapier plan. You need Owner or Editor access to a server to add clients to it.

Skills only work in agentic mode, so a server in managed mode shares its apps and actions but not its skills.
