How to Get Started with You Need A Budget on Zapier

When you start creating a You Need A Budget Zap, you will be asked to connect your You Need A Budget account.

Click to connect You Need A Budget

You’ll now be asked to log into your You Need A Budget account (unless you are already logged in).

Finally, you will be asked to give Zapier permission to access your account. Click "Authorize” to continue.

Login to APP

If all steps were successful your You Need A Budget account will now be successfully connected.

Common Problems with You Need A Budget on Zapier

How do I reset the budget I set when I connected my account?#

To change the budget you need to disconnect the authorization and reconnect. You can disconnect from this page: https://zapier.com/app/connections

Once disconnected, type in You Need A Budget in the search bar in the top left and reconnect.

Can I use Zapier on YNAB's 34-day trial?#

Yes, you can. Once the trial is over, your Zaps will not work until you subscribe to YNAB's paid plan.
