How to Automatically Share Instagram Photos on Pinterest

Instagram supports posting pictures to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr—and a few services most English speakers have never heard of—but it doesn't support posting to Pinterest.

That's unfortunate, but we can help. Zapier connects Instagram with thousands of other apps, including Pinterest. You can quickly set up an automation that will send all of your Instagram photos to a particular board on Pinterest. Here's a quick tool to get started:

  • Share new Facebook Pages posts to LinkedIn

You will be asked to sign up for a free Zapier account, if you don't have one already. You'll then be asked to log into your Instagram and Pinterest accounts. After that you will be able to choose which board your Instagram photos should show up on.

Feel free to add whatever text you'd like to the note. By default your caption from Instagram will show up here, but you can add text explaining the post is from Instagram if you like.

You can also add a link back to the photo Instagram. In the Link box click the fields button, which is on the right side. Next click the Link field.

When you're done you can send a test photo to Pinterest.

Make sure the test worked, then turn on your Zap.

That's all you have to do! From now on all of your Instagram photos will show up on Pinterest.
