Do More With HourStack
Zapier allows you to instantly connect HourStack with 1,500+ apps to automate your work and find productivity super powers.
Add new Google Calendar events to your HourStack week
Dragging and dropping your Google Calendar events can be cumbersome if you want every event from a specific calendar to appear in your HourStack week. You can now automatically add these events to your HourStack week as you create them in Google Calendar!
Note: The HourStack entries will not update if you make edits to the Google Calendar entry after creation
How this Google Calendar-HourStack integration works
- A new Google Event is created
- Zapier creates a new HourStack entry on the same day
- Google Calendar
Add new HourStack entries to your Google Calendar
It can be a pain to constantly flip between Google Calendar and HourStack when you're planning your week. This integration allows you to send your HourStack events to a designated calendar in Google Calendar, helping keep your calendar consistent with your task load in HourStack!
Note: Event start times will default to 12am of the appropriate day
How this HourStack-Google Calendar integration works
- A new HourStack Entry is created
- Zapier searches for an event of the same name in Google Calendar and a new event is created if Zapier doesn't find a match
- Google Calendar
Complete Asana tasks when HourStack tasks are completed
When working closely with Asana and HourStack, it can be time-consuming to mark entries as 'Complete' in both HourStack and Asana. With this integration, you'll no longer have to complete Asana entries separately from HourStack. Complete the appropriate entries in Asana every time you mark a matching HourStack entry as 'Complete'!
How this HourStack-Asana integration works
- An HourStack entry is marked as 'Complete'
- Zapier searches an Asana project for a task of the same name
- If Zapier finds a matching task, Zapier will mark it as complete
Post messages to a Slack channel when you start new HourStack timers
If you keep on forgetting to log your time when you get to work on projects, this integration can make you more efficient once you set it up. From then on, your team can see you're currently working on without leaving Slack, since Zapier will post a message to any channel whenever you start a new timer on HourStack—while you focus on the work itself.
Note: You'll need to set up a separate Zap to send a message when a timer is stopped
How this HourStack-Slack integration works
- A timer is started in HourStack
- Zapier posts a Slack channel message letting your team know that a timer was started
Add new Harvest projects to HourStack
Keeping all of your project planning and tracking apps in sync can be difficult. How this Harvest-HourStack integration works
- A new project is created in Harvest
