Add new Email messages to JIRA as new issues

If you receive emails raising issues for your development projects, then you can forward those emails to a Zapier email inbox to automatically create those issues in JIRA. After this integration is set up, every inbound e-mail from that point forward will be saved as a new issue in JIRA. That's an easy way to create issues from emails your dev team sends you—and also an easy way to send in issues from your own email app.

Note: This Zapier integration only adds inbound e-mails that are received after setting it up.

How It Works

  1. A new e-mail is sent to the custom address you've chosen for the integration.
  2. Zapier adds that email as an issue in JIRA
