Freelance work might not be a full-time job, but maintaining it is. You have to find clients, pitch them on projects, get their commitment, do the work, figure out what it cost you, invoice for it, and get paid. And you have to do that for all of your clients.

Repeat that for a handful of clients each month, and perhaps you can manage. But if you have several clients a day, something perhaps not uncommon if you’re working on Fiverr-sized tasks, you’ll end up spending more time on digital paperwork than your real work. Which is why you need a tool to pull it all together, something like And Co, the free app for invoicing and task management and proposals and more that’s a new part of the Fiverr family of app.s

And Co’s best selling point is its price. It’s fully free, for as many clients and invoices as you need, with you only needing to worry about the payment processing fee from PayPal or Stripe (typically 2.9$ + 30¢ per transaction). But that’s far from the only reason to use it.

The first thing you’ll notice is how streamlined it makes your work. Open the app, and you’ll see My Desk with a heads-up display of your revenue, outstanding payments, and to-dos where you can get right to work checking them off. The + button in the corner lets you quickly create invoices, expenses, tasks, proposals, contracts, projects, or subscriptions whenever something new comes your way.

First you’ll need to set things up. Dive in by adding your clients so you don’t have to re-type their info every time. You can then add proposals for them, with a contract included that will make sure you’ve spelled out who owns from your work and what’s expected from all parties—something easy to forget with freelance work. Once that’s signed, And Co turns it into a project where you can add tasks. Track time or add a new receipt to track expenses, and And Co will let you bill those to the correct project. Finish your work, and the project’s Invoice Now button will turn all of that into a completed invoice you can send to your client and let them pay via PayPal, credit card, or bank transfer right through And Co. Working for the same client often? Add a Subscription for them to charge them every month for the same items automatically, no invoice needed.

It’s a simple, streamlined way to manage freelance work, where one thing starts the next without you having to copy and paste data from proposals to projects to invoices.
