If you regularly give presentations, you'll know that speaker notes can make or break your delivery. Without those written cues, you risk stumbling over key points or forgetting important details. But manually crafting clear, structured notes—especially ones that match your style and personality—just adds a layer of stress to an already stressful situation.
Fortunately, with the help of Zapier Agents, you can get AI to do the heavy lifting for you. That's because Zapier Agents lets you train digital teammates to work independently across 7,000+ apps—and use live data as a knowledge source.
And, with the Zapier Agents Chrome extension, you can build a dedicated agent that reads your slides, analyzes past speaker notes, and writes a polished, structured script in your style—directly in the browser you're working from.

Download the Zapier Agents Chrome extension
The Zapier Agents Chrome extension lets you take AI agents anywhere you go in your browser so you can get more done. With it, you can build custom agents that analyze data, generate content, and interact with apps—all without leaving the page you're working on.
To install the Chrome extension, follow these steps:
Visit Zapier Agents's extension page in the Chrome web store.
Click Add to Chrome. A dialog box will open.

Click Add extension. The dialog box will close after installation.
Once it finishes installing, we recommend pinning it to your browser bar so you can easily find it. To do this, click the Extension icon on your Chrome browser bar to open the menu. Search for Zapier Agents in your list of extensions and click the pin icon beside it.

Once you've downloaded the extension, open the extension sidebar and click the Zapier Agents icon. If you're not signed in to your Zapier account, click Sign into Agents. You'll be redirected to the Zapier login page where you can log in (or sign up for a Zapier account if you don't already have one).
Once you're signed in, you can open your Agents extension sidebar in any browser, like so:

Build your presentation prep agent
Next up, it's time to build your new agent directly from the extension sidebar. To build your new agent, follow these steps:
In the top-right corner of the extension sidebar, click + Create agent to set up your new agent. We recommend doing this directly on the same web page as your presentation.
Note: You can see any existing agents you've created previously in this sidebar.

When your new agent opens in your sidebar, give it a distinctive name in the text box. We'll call our agent "Presentation prep agent" so we can easily distinguish it from the other agents we've built.

Next, click Untitled chat. This will lead you to the agent's chat interface, which is where you can chat with your agent and ask it to do things just like you would with a coworker on Slack. The icons at the bottom of the chat panel also allow you to upload data sources, connect apps and add actions, define behaviors, and more.

Add your data sources
Next up, it's time to add your data sources to the agent. You can give your agent access to live data (like a table or Google Doc) so it can find, analyze, and use information as a reference point.
Because this particular agent is meant to provide speaker notes based on your presentation, you should think about uploading an example of previous speaker notes written in your style and tone of voice. Find a presentation you've given before and download that file as a PDF with the speaker notes attached.
To upload that data source to your agent, follow these steps:
First, click the Data sources icon at the bottom of your chat panel.

Next up, click + Add data source.
Click Upload File and select the PDF from your files. Then click Add data source and wait a few seconds for your file to sync.
Tell your agent what to do
Now it's time to tell your agent what to do with those speaker notes. To do this, follow these steps:
First, make sure that your extension sidebar is open on the same page as your presentation slides.
Next, start typing out your instructions in the chat panel. Your instructions can be something simple, like: "Write speaker notes for this slide deck in the same style as the example presentation I provided."

Your agent will then create speaker notes for each slide within your presentation, giving you a polished, ready-to-use script that matches your style and tone.
You can review the generated notes directly in the chat panel, make any necessary edits, and even refine them by giving further instructions—such as requesting shorter bullet points, a more conversational tone, or additional details for key slides.

Once you're happy with the agent's notes, just copy and paste each note into the relevant slide of your presentation. All you have to do next is practice your presentation—and deliver!
