Use the **Zapier Chrome extension** to start workflows from your browser. Before continuing, be sure to [install the extension](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/zapier/ngghlnfmdgnpegcmbpgehkbhkhkbkjpj), then come back here to setup your Zap.

Enter additional fields you would like to include when triggering your Zap. For example, you may want a field for “Due date” when adding to your to do list. Specify [a short title](https://cdn.zappy.app/8f024a6fe377ba77bf386305ec2e38f9.png) that will be displayed above the message

Enter the message you would like to display in the Chrome extension after your Zap runs. It can include data from previous steps and formatting with simple markdown for **bold**, *italics*, and even [links](https://www.zapier.com). For example, `**bold text**`, `*italic text*`, `[some link text](https://www.example.com)`.

Run workflows right from your browser. Include the URL & Title of the current page or add fields to include any other data you want to use in your Zap.

In order to trigger when emails are opened, this must be paired with a separate Zap using the **Send Outbound Email** action, with the **Enable Read Receipts?** field set to `True`.

To test with a live email, send an email to yourself using your **Send Outbound Email** action (with read receipts enabled) and open it, then test this trigger immediately for samples. If you don't need to test with live data, click Skip Test to use static test data.

**Trial or Free Zapier plan:**

 - Emails sent during [testing](https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/18811411817741-Test-Zap-steps "https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/18811411817741-Test-Zap-steps") are sent to the [Zapier account email address](https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496274581517-Change-your-Zapier-account-email-address "https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496274581517-Change-your-Zapier-account-email-address"). Once published, emails go to the intended recipients (To, CC, BCC).
 - You can send a maximum of 5 emails per account per day.

**Paid Zapier plan:**

 - You can send a maximum of 10 emails per account per hour.

Can be a comma separated list of emails. Limited to 5.

You can place HTML in here and we will send it as is. If this is plain text, we will try to convert it to some very basic HTML for greater client compatibility.

A file object to be attached to the email. Plain text content will converted into a txt file and attached. Please note, if the file is over ~10mb or so, you should explore using other email sending techniques (like Gmail or SMTP).

This will be your "display name" when sending. *Want to send from your own email address? Try Mailgun, IMAP, Mandrill or Gmail apps instead.*

Specify a reply address other than your own.

Set this to "yes" if your emails are received without line breaks or spacing.

Want to be notified when this email is opened? Set this to to `True` and set up a Zap using the `New Read Receipt` trigger.

Send and receive email via a custom Zapier email address at "zapiermail.com". This is great for triggering off of emails and sending custom emails. (Max of 10 email sends per hour.)
